2013 Rhubarb Wine

Rhubarb Wine 1
Jun 08 – chop and sugar 25# of rhubarb with 15# of sugar.
Jun 13 – ferment with Permier Cuvee’ yeast
Jun 28 – transfer, added black tea
Aug 11 – transfer
Oct 12 – bottled, added 3/4 cup sugar

Jul 21 – chop and sugar 20# of rhubarb with 12# of sugar.
Jul 27 – ferment with Premier Cuvee’ yeast, added black tea
Aug 11 – transfer
Oct 12 – transfer, add bentonite
Nov 04 – transfer, add 1 OZ of Isinglass
Nov 16 – bottle, 35 bottles, green bottles.I took the recipe from this site;

I scaled up to 5 gallons and don’t use the campden tablets.
