The Seventy-Three First Cousin in the Ludwig Felchle & Elizabeth Weingartner Family
The Ludwig Felchle and Elizabeth Weingartner family started in Teplitz, Bessarabia which is now in the Ukraine. I think they had 10 children. The two oldest boys have the same name, so I assume that one died as a child and the next born was giving the same name. This left nine children to raise families.
The nine families produced seventy-three grandchildren. The oldest was born in 1887 and the youngest was born in 1932. This forty-five-year span is basically two generations so my dad, born in 1927 had cousins that were older than his mother, who was born in 1891.
