Felchle Surname
When my branch of the family came to the US, their name was typically written as Felchle. Older German records are written as Fälchle. There are Europeans that use Falchle when the system that they are using does not allow the ä character.
To make it more interesting, I found two families that came to the US from Germany in the early 1800s and they go by Faelchle. We have a branch of the family that emigrated to Argentina that goes by Felchle, but one brother ended up with his surname spelled Filchel.

This couple had ten children. The oldest and then next child have the same name, so my assumption is that the oldest died as a child and the next child was given the same name. This leaves nine children that raised families. I am descended from the last child, and since I have one aunt still living, I won't include this family in the descendants.
